Dubai a pit stop before Baghdad

I traveled from Washington Dulles on a 10:30pm nonstop direct flight to Dubai. it was a 12.5-13 hour flight that was the absolute longest I have been on. I've been to Europe twice and was on the plane about 7 hours straight. I even took a sleep aid that did not really aid since there was incredible turbulence.

The photo below is a group of guys in the Baghdad airport that were probably brought to Iraq for work. I was siting at the airport waiting to get my visa. The coordinator for their trip came out and spoke to them and they all sat down on the floor very orderly. I was amazed since I got the impression that working here was really important. It also made me recognize the very desparate situations that exist throughout the world. America isn't the only place experiencing economic woes. Its worldwide.

Be grateful for your job no matter how much it appears to suck.... you could be forced to find work in a foreign land away from your family and friends. I'm here voluntarily to get things done, many are forced to be here because they simply can't find work anyway else.....
