Well, I have finally left Iraq and have been settled in ok in Paris. I must say that I have been walking around and taking in all of the sites with such amazing interest. Not as the typical tourist, but as a person who cheerishes the freedom and essence of life.
I have been shopping, eating, walking, listening, observing and just plain ole having a blast! I have not gone salsa dancing. I guess its because I have been walking around soo much, I have been back to the room to sleep by 10pm. Tonight is Thursday Latin night at one club in the city. I will venture out and check it out.
I have made some great purchases while here and am enjoying the depleted power of my US dollar! It was pretty cool here when I arrived so I needed to purchase a jacket. I must say the one I found is pretty stylish and I can't wait to get home to sport it out on a cool evening. Think of a trench coat in jacket form that comes slightly past the hips. Of course I decided over the tan and got the black one.
There aren't any internet cafe's in this place so I have to pay the JACKED up net rates in EUROS!!!!! But hey, I'm on Vacation and I'm very glad to be here. I leave on Friday around 10:30 local time and will arrive at Dulless around 12:45pm in the afternoon.

Lastly, this blog will move to a new blogspot address in about 7 to 10 days. Google does not have a feature to allow comments and blogspot does, so I will move it there.
